Nishanth elected General co-Chair for IEMDC 2029

Nishanth has been elected as the General co-Chair for the 2029 IEEE International Electric Machines and Drives Conference (IEMDC). First organized in 1997, IEMDC is IEEE’s premier conference on Electric Machines and Drives and is co-sponsored by 4 IEEE technical societies – Power and Energy Society (PES), Industry Applications Society (IAS), Power Electronics Society (PELS), and Industrial Electronics Society (IES). Nishanth brought the team together and led the development of a proposal to host IEMDC 2029 in Knoxville, TN, which was elected in a technical committee vote over 3 other competing proposals.
